About Us

Premiere Body Stop is South Florida’s most distinctive collision center which has been family owned and operated by Carl and Summer Jobson since 1992. We employ an elite team of professionals who consistently offer our valued customers with superior workmanship and personalized service.

Originally from St. Augustine, FL, Carl Jobson began his career in high school where he built his first body shop at age 16, while he took classes to teach him the trade. Proficient in painting and customer service skills, he moved to South Florida to improve his contacts and experience within the trade. He opened Premiere Body Stop in Oakland Park, FL in 1992, in a two bay warehouse. His business grew so quickly he moved to a large building on the same street.

Premiere Body Stop teamed up with many local auto dealers and insurance companies who significantly elevated his sales and reputation. With two babies in tow, his wife Summer joined the operation to support the dramatic growth in business. In 2000, they moved to the current location after acquiring it from Auto Nation.

In 2007, after having another child and focusing on real estate properties, the Jobson family decided to allow L& L Collision (dba PBS Collision) to manage their business and be a tenant. They went out of business in May 2010 and the Jobsons resumed control of their business property. Since, Premiere Body Stop is pleased to restore our many years of excellence in reputation, integrity, quality, and service!
